​Improve your English for everyday life, family, work, and college. The Sequoias Adult Education Consortium (SAEC) connects adults to English classes across our region, from beginning to advanced literacy levels.

What you will learn:

  • Adult ESL classes are offered from Basic Literacy through Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. Many sites use a short CASAS placement test so you start in the right class.

Choose the program that fits your goals:
Adult School ESL
  • Local classes with multiple levels (often multi-level by design)
  • Support to build confidence and consistency

College of the Sequoias ESL
  • Credit and noncredit ESL options, including English Academic Prep
  • Good fit if your goal includes college coursework or an ESL certificate

Citizenship preparation and tutoring:
  • Some locations also offer citizenship preparation and tutoring to accelerate progress.
